While dinosaurs get all the headlines and action movies, trilobites, an ancient crustacean species that resemble modern-day horseshoe crabs, had a decidedly more impressive run. The ruled Earth’s oceans for 250 million years, twice as long as the dinos. And if you live in Cincinnati, the highest concentration of trilobite fossils in the world are right under your feet.
